Merry Christmas part 2

Christians may tell you that non-Christians (like myself) shouldn’t be allowed to celebrate Christmas.  That if we don’t believe in celebrating the birth of Christ, we should somehow be banned from Christmas celebrations.  We’d presumably be forced to work (while our God-fearing bosses are at home) and somehow barred from buying presents for our loved ones.  But given that Christianity ripped off aspects of older religion, claiming them as their own and integrating them into Christmas, aren’t people like me closer to respecting the real meaning of winter worship, by not worshipping Jesus, than Christians are?
