Friday Links: 13th October

Finished reading Trapped Under the Sea, by Neil Swidey (good, depressing, not structured in the way I expected).
Still reading Liar’s Poker by Michael Lewis (also good, though the Michael Lewis who later wrote Moneyball is, understandably, a better writer)
This week I also bought Becoming the Iceman, by Wim Hof, and Enter the Kettlebell, by Pavel Tsatsouline

Planning on reading: author of The Game, Neil Strauss, wrote an article on the Backstreet Boys in 2002. I’m not sure why I want to read it.

Video: I watched the Algorithms episode of the BBC’s Secret Rules of Modern Living. Most things related to tech on the BBC are usually cringeworthy, but this was well done and interesting. The episode is on Youtube, though the framing has gone wrong.

Podcasts: still loving Tim Ferriss’ show. This week, particularly his interviews with Jon Favreau and wrestler Triple H.
